More Geocaching--Cache 2

The second cache was located inside a sundial on the campus of Southern Adventist University.

It held only a log--which T filled out and replaced.

More Geocaching--Cache 1

T went geocaching with his uncles yesterday. The first cache was at the base of church bells.

Sadly, someone had filled the cache with trash (maybe they thought it was geo-trashing?).

T removed the trash, signed the log, and placed the dragon travelbug that he had found in Michigan into the container.

More Geocaching

First geocache of the day.

Second geocache was in the center of town.

The third cache was in a guardrail beside the road.

T was able to work in three more geocache hunts today. The first one was in a stump near an old railroad tunnel. It had a log for finders to record their name and date--and a "where's George" dollar in it. T replaced the dollar with one of his own.

The second cache was located in a small magnetic container attached to a stop sign near the center of town. It was so small that it only held a log (a long strip of paper rolled up inside).

Cache number three was in a mini-M&M container located in a guardrail along the highway that goes through town--just a little way out of town. It also held just a log.

T is enjoying using his GPS and going "treasure" hunting.
