T is 16 today! We celebrated yesterday (since M had to work at the office today). My dad came down for lunch (spaghetti, garlic bread, corn from our garden, and broccoli). T wanted a lemon cake with lemon frosting--the consistency of the frosting was weird--kind of translucent--the cake showed through. It tasted good, though. We also had peach frozen yogurt and blueberry pomegranate ice cream. L had left some gifts behind for T--a college dictionary and a couple devotional books based on the Andy Griffith Show. He also got a couple videos, some audio CD's of his favorite radio show, and a couple books. Happy Birthday!!

April Reading List
Yes, I know the first three books on April's reading list are childrens' books. But, when I was at the library, I wandered over to the childrens' section and those books caught my eye.
The armadillo one since L is our Texas armadillo. The one about the boy raised by librarians because I love the library. And, the one about the million dots because numbers fascinate me (just not Algebra numbers).
They are all good books and I would recommend them if you know someone looking for a good childrens' book.
