It's been really cold here lately--down to 7 degrees one night. The water freezes in the birdbath almost as soon as we fill it. These goldfinches are enjoying a drink and bath before the water completely freezes.
This enterprising Titmouse discovered that the water in the dogs' heated bowl didn't freeze, so he came there to get a drink instead of the birdbath.
