Pathfinder Induction

The Induction Service was held in the Family Life Center. Families were encouraged to attend (and I think most of them did).
Candles were lit to represent the Spirit of Pathfindering; the different levels of classwork; to mark each section of the Pledge and Law; and for the new Inductees to show their willingness to follow the Pledge and Law and be a Pathfinder. The veteran Pathfinders took turns lighting the candles and reading what each stood for. The new Pathfinders came up and each lit a candle.
After the candle ceremony, each new Pathfinder came forward and received their scarf and slide,
their sash (to put their honor patches and camporee patches on),
and a Pathfinder Bible (New King James version--used in Pathfinder Bible Achievement).

A group picture of this year's club--Pathfinders and staff.
