Current (and ongoing) Knitting Project

The colors aren't exactly right--the pillow is more of a wine color and the couch is a darker grey.

It is almost half as long as the couch now.

I've been working on this throw for the couch for almost a year and a half now (off and on--more off than on). I wanted something that worked with the colors of the couch and would feel cozy.

It is in garter stitch (knit every row) on circular needles (but knitted flat). The yarn is Lion Brand Homespun named "Nouveau". It is an acrylic/polyester blend and machine washable. It is very warm and soft.

I chose garter stitch to get the nubby texture, plus it's good for doing while watching TV as there is no pattern to follow or counting.
